Breeding Contract

This agreement is by and between Stallion Owner Shelly Curtis and Mare Owner _________________________________________.

This agreement is for ___ breeding(s) to Sierras Super Star or KLR Reflection (circle one).

Fees are to be as follows: 1 breeding 750.00 2 Breedings 1250.00 3 breedings 1500.00. These fees include booking fees of 250.00. Shipped semen extra as shown below.

All mares must be owned by the same owner and stud fees must be paid in full at time of booking to qualify for multiple mare discounts.

Stallion owner agrees to breed above mares for the 2007 season with a live foal guarantee. Live foal Guarantee means a foal that stands and nurses and lives at least one week. Veterinarians certificate of foal's death must accompany re-breed request. Booking fee and shipped semen fee will be paid again the following year on LFG.

Stallion owner will work diligently to get mare in foal. All mares that will be presented for live cover must have a current negative culture. Mares presented for live cover must have hind shoes removed. Mare care will be 10.00/day dry 13.00/day wet. Vet fees are responsibility of mare owner, and mare owner agrees that stallion owner will use whatever veterinarian help is necessary to get mare settled.

Mare owner must pay booking fee and present a copy of mare's papers to stallion owner at time of booking.

Shipped semen:

STUD FEE AND SHIPPING/COLLECTION FEE MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO ORDERING SEMEN

Shipped semen will be available for a flat fee of 250.00 for the first two shipments. This will include a disposable container to be returned by mare owner if second  shipment is needed. We will collect and ship FedEx Monday thru Saturday. Semen must be ordered at LEAST 24 hours before collection day by 10 am. Example, to ship on Monday at 10am, semen must be ordered by Sunday at 10 am. Semen may be ordered by email at shelly@yellowhorsesinc.com or by phone at 360-400-2486 or 360-721-1386. If the mare requires more than two, i.e.; 3 or 4 shipments of semen, a second 250.00 shipping fee will need to be paid by mare owner prior to third shipment, fourth shipment will be included in the second shipping fee.
